Stop Smoking Before it Kills You

The effects of smoking cigarettes is not a secret anymore. Not only can it kill you (and most likely will if you keep doing it) but it will more likely just impair you - smoking kills you slowly and painfully.

If you're a smoker please consider quitting before it's too late.

Smoking cigarettes can cause cancer, lung disease, heart disease, impotence, high blood pressure and more plus it turns your skin and teeth an ugly yellow and it just makes you look like a fool.

Smoking is more addictive then heroin.

The Effects of Smoking, If it doesn't kill you it will make your life miserable eventually

My father was a chain smoker, at the age of 60 he developed rectal cancer. He didn't die right away, instead he had to have a colostomy and chemotherapy and radiation. Eventually, about 2 years later the cancer came back, it spread to his bones and caused open gaping wounds. My dad suffered a slow, horrible death. My mom had to take care of him, help him to the bathroom, bathe him and care for his wounds which reeked of dying flesh.

I believe if my dad would've quit smoking he would still be alive today.

My aunt developed emphysema in her 50's, her doctor told her she had to quit smoking or she'd die. She quit but not before the damage was done, now nearly 20 years later she still lives with the effects of smoking. She's been on oxygen since she's quit, she can't even blow out a candle. Her life has been severely impaired because she smoked.

If you're a smoker, please quit.

The Top Five Reasons Smoking is the Deadliest Habit

  • Smoking makes you smell bad and makes your skin and teeth rot and turn yellow.

I'm so sorry about your father. My husband was a chain smoker for years, but quit before I met him, thank goodness. You've handled a tough topic very well. I hope people listen!
